Summer news

Pentiction was great this year. It was hot and clear with no smoke. We did not even see rain (but there was a bit in the valley).

Bob and Barbara have posted the Chuckwagon 8s summer newsletter: Barbara and I hope that everyone is having a great time this summer. We were once again traveling for the month of May mostly in central Canada visiting family and friends. We returned to BC in mid June and waited until July for our summer weather which we have been enjoying. We are once again looking forward to our weekend in Cle Elum at the Circle 8 ranch with Brent and other members of the Plus group. It is a fun weekend of dancing and camaraderie. We wish to encourage the members of the A2 group to go and support your great caller Ray Brendzy who is calling on the Labour Day weekend at the Circle 8 ranch. ... We had a good size group at the Riverside and enjoyed snorkelling, golf, picking peaches, meals out together, a potluck, after parties, and much more.

The Boggs brothers did aquaducks this year. Ray and Nicholas were amongst those that helped out.

Notable in the announcements was that our own beloved Chuck Jordan will be the Friday night MC next year. Also, the plus dance is moving to Saturday.

Well, we are off to the Lynden fair for their demo today. And we hope to see many of you down at Circle 8 next weekend.
